That's right! 4 days and 8 waterfalls. Seems like some kind of record but in all honesty, it was only a personal record.
That is what started it all!
What started off as an idea to get away for the 4th of July weekend, turned into a hiking/waterfall trip. As I looked around for activities where we were going to be staying, I saw a hiking trail that featured a Waterfall. That is what started it all!
I started looking at other waterfalls nearby and soon I had a list of 8 waterfalls. I had to stop at that point because I was not an avid hiker; neither were people going with me. I picked hiking trails that were relatively easy and preferably less than 2 miles.
This trip changed my mind!
While on this trip and through the hikes and the sights, I fell in love with hiking and waterfalls even more. I was never much of a hiker or an outdoorsy person but this trip, I turned the corner. I still wouldn't call myself anything close to a pro but I am getting there.
